Title: Integrated Media Planner Department: Media Planning & Strategy FLSA: Non-exempt Location: Los Angeles, California Overview: USIM is a full-service, integrated, media planning and buying agency. We are media agnostic – aligning the most successful and efficient media strategies with the goals of our clients, regardless of channel. The Integrated Media Planner will be responsible for planning traditional and digital media channels to develop holistic communication strategies that fulfill the client’s marketing goals. This position will work closely with the Assistant Media Planner and together, will maintain the media plans. RESPONSIBILITIES: Help develop and execute media plans and strategies Steward all media buys, both traditional and digital Provide buy summaries and/or regular reporting, as needed Able to understand KPIs delivered Run, pull and extrapolate date from syndicated research sources for both traditional and digital Manage client’s budgets, actualize against invoices and manage make-goods Analyze competitive presence in the marketplace QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Strong communication skills to both assistant media planners and Associate Media Directors as well as with clients and outside sales reps Properly present the company when interacting with media partners Multi-task to support multiple clients; strong time management skills to juggle various deadlines Global strategic thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day tasks. Good understanding of all media types: Broadcast, Print, Digital, OOH, etc Strong Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills Working knowledge of Digital trafficking & Digital specs Experience with media tools such as: ComScore, Nielsen, DoubleClick, Pathmatics EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration and/or communications Minimum 1-3 years of experience in traditional and digital media planning PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
