Title: Account Coordinator

Department: Client Services

FLSA:   Non-Exempt                                                                             

Location:  New York

Reports: Group Media Director                         

Overview:  

USIM is a full-service, integrated, media planning and buying agency. We are media agnostic – aligning the most successful and efficient media strategies with the goals of our clients, regardless of channel. The Account Coordinator role provides overall day-to-day customer service and ensures the effective execution of client campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily client deliverables including:  status items, budgets, and deadlines for creative
  • Support team with Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Insertion Orders and Media Authorizations
  • Coordinate and/or participate in any and all phases of client management:  planning, research, developing presentations, trafficking
  • Participate and document in-person client meetings and conference calls
  • Facilitate all administrative tasks: weekly status reports, agendas, billing, reporting and internal job management
  • Build relationships with internal teams and clients
  • Learn company’s products and services as well as in-house research tools
  • Lead own personal development
  • Stay on-top-of latest industry news
  • Schedule team and client meetings as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • BA/BS degree marketing, business, preferred
  • 1 year experience or college internship of relative experience
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, analytic skills, problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
  • Ability to professionally communicate with, present to, interact with clients
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Demonstrates initiative and drives to completion of projects

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications
