Reports: Group Media Director, Director of Strategy                              


USIM is a full-service, integrated, media planning and buying agency. We are media agnostic – aligning the most successful and efficient media strategies with the goals of our clients, regardless of channel. The Digital Supervisor role is key and covers a portfolio of clients.


  • Day-to-day contact for assigned clients addressing and responding to requests as well as overseeing projects
  • Lead media plan presentations and reporting meetings with clients
  • Manage daily workload and associated timelines of planners and junior planners
  • Responsible for managing assigned media accounts and client budgets
  • Analyzes online statistics and identifies the best practice to optimize online marketing performance
  • Determine media strategy for new, existing and potential clients
  • Review, consider, and develop interactive media opportunities, plans and proposals
  • Negotiate, set-up, and purchase digital media for assigned campaigns
  • Cross check plans and all supporting documents (spec/TI sheets, IOs, billing docs)
  • Double check and sign IOs, ensuring adherence to T’s & C’s, negotiating changes when necessary
  • Utilize internal reporting systems to monitor vendor activity, including daily traffic reports to ensure proper and timely campaign promotion and delivery
  • Development and presentation of media recommendations, evaluations, presentations, POVs, and media analysis to internal groups and clients
  • Familiarity with industry systems/tools such as ComScore, Pathmatics, Nielsen, Doubleclick Campaign Manager, Moat, Integral Ad Science, Extreme Reach etc.
  • Consistent and effective communication with management, account teams and internal team members


  • Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources
  • Strong, up to date understanding of Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, Mobile, Display, tagging, ad tech, audience segmentation: tracking and tagging, database modeling, emerging media
  • Ability to analyze data and deliver meaningful insights and actions
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Happy to “work down”, working with teams to get work done, even if this means working below the Supervisor level.
  • Experience working with high-demand clients with urgent deadlines across multiple client/ campaigns
  • High level of account service
  • Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications
  • 3-5 years digital media planning/buying experience
