Job Description

Title: Marketing Manager

FLSA: Exempt                                                             

Location: Irvine, California



USIM is a full-service, integrated, media planning and buying agency. We are media agnostic – aligning the most successful and efficient media strategies with the goals of our clients, regardless of channel. USIM is currently seeking a Marketing Manager for our Irvine office. The Marketing Manager role is responsible for implementation of key industry and service-line marketing presentation with a focus on supporting our business development team and overall office events.


  • Craft and maintain client case studies
  • Write monthly blogs that will posted on company website
  • Assist in writing and formatting new business RFP responses
  • Write and submit press releases – goal is to generate at least one press release per month
  • Continually update company website
  • Identify conferences and events to attend and coordinate speaking/panel submissions
  • Assist in developing company white papers
  • Update and maintain company collateral material
  • Assist new business development
  • Coordinate across office social events
  • Coordinate team function events


  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Keen understanding of media and advertising, both traditional and digital
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong initiative in taking calculated risks to improve the financial return from each key account
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in all MS Office products
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with dynamic job responsibilities and priorities
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other staff members


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience
  • Must have advertising experience
  • Must have advertising agency experience (either at an agency or on the client side)
