RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help to build media strategies for new, existing and potential clients
  • Review, evaluate and develop media opportunities, plans and proposals
  • Use syndicated research and media tools in development of plans
  • Provide briefs, specs and authorizations for TV buyers, our programmatic team, etc.
  • Ensure proper delivery of campaigns from inception, creative development, media set-up, through reporting and results measurement
  • Play a major role in executing and stewarding buys
  • Maintain media budgets, billing and actualization for executed campaigns in conjunction with buying teams
  • Development and presentation of media recommendations, evaluations, presentations, POVs, and media analysis to internal groups and to clients
  • Consistent and effective communication with clients, management, account teams and internal team members
 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in working with either digital or traditional media (ideally both)
  • Knowledge of MS Excel (functions, pivot tables), PowerPoint
  • Experience with syndicated research tools, e.g., Nielsen, MRI, comScore
  • Ability to work with a team to achieve common goals
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, especially for interaction with clients
  • Ability to read with understanding and analyze data
  • Good media math skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to perform any task required for the clients’ or agency’s success
  • Demonstrating real curiosity, constant inquiry
  • Passion and strong interest for the media industry
  • Willing to learn, grow, transform, especially into digital media


Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications
  • 2+ years of media planning and buying experience for digital media, traditional or both. (Agency experience preferred)
