*This is a hybrid role working in the New York office 2 days per week.

 

RESPONSIBILIES:

  • Help develop, execute and media strategies, detailed plans from inception to completion (strategy/planning/buying)
  • Provide comprehensive, well-supported media recommendations for tactical executions
  • Oversee execution of all digital media spend
  • Create and oversee analyses of digital reporting
  • Manage and mentor any direct reports
  • Consistently interact with clients and participate in formal presentations of agency work
  • Manage client budgets to ensure accuracy, negotiate best value for the client while maintaining quality
  • Establish professional, productive rapport with sales representatives/media vendors/internal groups
  • Foster a collaborative/positive working environment

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Ability to professionally communicate with, present to and interact with senior client leadership
  • Ability to represent client and agency when dealing with all types of media partners
  • Ability to help hire, manage and develop a team of digital planning
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
  • Strategic thinker, critical thinker, problem solver
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present, field questions
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrates initiative and drives to completion of projects
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing and digital media
  • Understanding of research, measurement billing and verification tools/systems
  • Understanding of programmatic, SEO, SEM, paid social, enhanced TV platforms, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry systems/tools such as ComScore, Nielsen, Doubleclick Campaign Manager, digital verification partners
  • Demonstrates initiative and drives to completion of projects

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications
  • This is a senior planning position requiring a candidate who has previous planning experience
