Who we are:
The Ad Council is where creativity and causes converge at scale. We are a national non-profit organization, bringing together the brightest minds in the marketing, media, advertising and tech industries to inspire change around the most critical social issues facing our country. We produce and activate communications campaigns that drive awareness and behavior change, creating a lasting impact on American life. We are behind the iconic social good communications programs featuring Smokey Bear, "Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk" and Love Has No Labels." Our unprecedented efforts around COVID-19 now include the largest communications initiative in U.S. history, Its Up To You, which educates Americans about the COVID-19 vaccines.
In the spring of 2023, the Ad Council will be launching a groundbreaking Mental Health Initiative to holistically address the growing mental health crisis across numerous American populations. The initiative will be comprised of deep research and insights, a massive coalition of public and private partners, and an integrated communications campaign (media, social, digital, employer resources, etc.).
The Insights & Analytics Manager (Contract) will be responsible for supporting the team leading research and analytics-related activities for the Mental Health Initiative. This includes formative research, creative testing, and campaign evaluation. You will report to the VP, Insights & Analytics, leading research and strategy development for the initiative.
All effective campaigns start with a compelling strategy, and you will collaborate with not only cross-functional, internal teams, but also agency planners, media strategists, digital specialists, creatives, and others in all aspects of campaign research, planning, and evaluation. The Ad Council is a results-driven organization, and you will help implement and analyze quantitative and qualitative research, translating audience insights into action.
This position is great if you exhibit excellent analytical skills, a broad grasp of market research methodologies, the ability to communicate complex insights simply and effectively, strong written and oral communication skills, great project management skills, and a passion for social change.
This is a contract, remote employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of at will employment, the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract. The compensation for this position is $6,000 monthly, paid semi-monthly. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off. Employees based local to an Ad Council office (NYC and DC) have the option to work in the office, if that is their preference.
