Personal Summary
I am a film major with extensive experience in the field of editing film and video. Having worked on multiple projects throughout the end of high school and all of college, I have experience with editing in Final Cut Pro X and Premiere Pro. I also have a special interest in audio and sound editing, having an interest in voiceover. I have experience in voiceover in both class projects and freelance work.
Work Experience
As an intern, I worked with the production team of the WRBL TV station and contributed to the editing of the live show, adding and editing in PKGs, VOs, and SOTs. During the live airing, I sat in the control room with everybody and often worked on the soundboard, listening to the director and adjusting mics, changing audio channels, and turning up and down audio levels. I learned the set up process of the studio by moving cameras around and adjusting them and putting batteries in mics and distributing them.
Working in Columbus State University’s radio station with a radio student, I learned the uses of mics, editing software, mixing, and timelines. It was there I put together this resume and worked on multiple voice projects for a portfolio.
